Formerly of Francois, NL 

It was with great sadness that the family of the late Lillian Durnford announce her passing at the Calder Health Care Centre Long Term Care Burgeo at the age of 89.  Left with many fond and loving memories her  children: Brenda (Ward), Keith (Mabel), Joanne (Hubert), Paulette, Geraldine (Kevin), 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, sister Sarah Durnford (Gordon), sister-in-law Mary Andrews, sister-in-law Melita Ashford (Jim), brother-in-law Gerald Durnford (Nanette), daughter-in-law Denise Durnford as well as many other relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Clyde, son Gary, parents Samson & Lucy E. Andrews and brother Walter Andrews.

Special thank you to the nurses & staff of LTC Burgeo for their excellent care and compassion.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00pm at St. John the Evangelist Church Burgeo with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating.  Interment will take place in the Francois cemetery at a later date.
