It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Bungay announce her passing at the Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: Yvonne (Cyril), Juanita (Brian), Eugene, Tony, Hubert (Audrey), Audrey (Sandra), Michelle, and Danny (Lisa); grandchildren: Corey (Miranda), Christina (Justin), Douglas (Megan), Dylan (Emily), Samantha (Myles), Jonathan (Brianna); great-grandchildren: Chloe, Makenna, Mia, Quinn; sisters-in-law: Audrey (Sam) Courtney, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

She loved to spend time with her family, adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed a good game of cards and darts. She will be surely missed by her loved ones left behind.

Mary was predeceased by her husband: Isaac; daughter-in-law: Catherine; parents: Job and Elizabeth Langdon; brothers: John and Hubert; sister: Sarah; and sister-in-law: Bessie.

Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo on Monday, February 20, from the hours of 2-4 and 6-8 pm. from where the service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
