Obituary of Lisa Marie Young

Lisa Marie Young
March 6, 1979 – February 20, 2023

Lisa Marie Young (nee Weins) was a loving wife and mother. She left this world suddenly on February 20, 2023 at the young age of 43.

She leaves to mourn her husband of 17 years, Michael; children Mikayla and Brody; mother Susan Wadel; father Dale (Maureen) Weins; brother Dwayne (Becky) Weins; parents-in-law Raymond and Roberta Young; brother-in-law Robbie (Jaimi) Young; nephews William, Ayden, and Cameron; niece Harli; special friend Jenn Schumacher; special cousin and friend Raylene MacDonald; many aunts and uncles; and her Shoppers Drug Mart family.

Lisa was predeceased by her grandparents Willard and Helen Wadel and John and Patricia Weins; grandparents-in-law Frank and Melina Bird and Frank and Mary Young; special aunt and godmother Donna Wadel.

Lisa was born to Sue Wadel and Dale Weins on March 6, 1979 in Waterloo, ON. She graduated high school in 1997 and shortly after in October of 1999 met her husband, Michael Young. Together they had two beautiful children Mikayla and Brody.

Lisa enjoyed raising her two beautiful children and being a devoted wife to Mike. She would spend countless hours baking and cooking with her children, who enjoyed doing these things with her dearly. Lisa and Mike were inseparable, doing everything together, just like two peas in a pod. The love they shared for each other was unmeasurable.

Lisa also enjoyed working at her local Shoppers Drug Mart. She spoke fondly of her co workers and enjoyed interacting with her customers. She was always smiling and friendly to whomever she came into contact with.

A funeral service for family and friends will be held at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 46 Main Street, Pasadena, NL on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 10 am. Please press on the link below to register for the funeral service livestream.
