Obituary of Margaret Marcella O'Leary

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Marcella O’Leary (nee Morris) announce her passing on March 6^th, 2023 at the age of 83 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Mont (Kate Turnbull), Dee (Lorne Daigle), Joe (Lorraine O’Leary), Ben, Margie (Dan Baikie), Jack, Paul, Janice, and Joanne O’Leary; grandchildren: Derek (Ashley), Kelly (Derm), Adrienne, Huey (Kate), Daniel (Julie), Chantel (Chad), Christi-Leigh, Nickie (Trevor), Sam (Karlan), Samantha (Bryce), Jennifer (Sabrina), Shelley, and Sherri, and her brother: Harris Morris, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband: William O’Leary, in 1987, her son: Craig Derek O’Leary, brothers: Wilson and Kerm Morris, sisters: Ella Morris (Elson), Ethel Morris (Webber), and Sarah Morris, and her nephew: James Matthews.

Visitation for family will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy-Valley Goose Bay, on Thursday, March 9th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The family will be recieving guests from the greater community on Friday, March 10th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. 

Funeral mass will be taking place at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, March 11th at 1pm with Fr. Boniface officiating. Cremation to follow.
