It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Robert John Young announce his passing at the Long Term Care Centre, Corner Brook, NL on March 9, 2023 at the age of 78 years.
Left to mourn are: his wife of 50 years Shelia, daughter Tina (Lyle) Richardson, son Kenneth (Maria) Young, 3 grandchildren and his sister/brother-in-law Madonna and Gilbert White.
Robert was a very hard worker who started working at the age of 16 and had many jobs throughout his years. He was assistant manager at Canadian Tire and ending lastly with being a guard at the RCMP for 21 years. He was a devoted husband for over 50 years. Robert will be greatly missed by his family, extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents William Young and Patricia (Gale) Young and mother-in-law Jessie Brace Morey.
To respect Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No visitation or service at this time.
