It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Mitchell announce her passing on Friday, January 22nd, 2010 at the Labrador Health Centre at the age of 48 years. She will be sadly missed by her fiancé Dion Curl; daughter: Shannon Mitchell; brothers: Lester Mitchell (Anges), Gerald Mitchell (Liz); sister: Sheila (Lee Pardy); sister-in-law: Kate, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Elsie Mitchell; brothers: Horace Mitchell and Jesse James Mitchell. Friends may visit The Moravian Church, Makkovik on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Moravian cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
