Aunt Lal, Owen, Veronica, Edmond, Nicole, Tyson, Calla, Luanne and families,
What do one say when there is so much to say. Uncle wal and Aunt lal was there for us no matter what. Every Sunday night supper was like Christmas Day dinner when we were kids. It was a place to gather with ya cousins and that dining room table could hold a few people I tell ya. Seemed the more youngsters around the happier everyone was.
Things have certainly changed over the years and will continue to change. I accept that but knowing there will be one less face that you never see again makes it hard.
You will always have memories that will either make you laugh and/or cry all the same time. Be for ever grateful for that. Those memories will help you with your grief in the coming, days, months and years ahead. May his memories bring you peace and comfort.
I knew he was sick last summer and did not expect him to visit. Then I looked out the window and there they was. I got to play cards with him last summer for the last time at our cabin. And yes, we got bragging rights, aunt Lal and I beat uncle Wall and Norm. I got the proof. All uncle Wall done was give me his laugh. Uncle Wall waved good bye to me on face time with the biggest smile on his birthday. I will treasure those memories forever.
Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.
Our condolences to all the family.
