Obituary of William Frederick Redgeway Snook Jr.

Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the families of William Frederick Redgeway Snook Jr. announce his passing on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the age of 39.

Billy was born April 14, 1983 and was raised in Mary’s Harbour. His greatest achievements are his 3 beautiful children who he adored. He leaves to mourn two parents, Loretta (Darrell) and William Snook, his children, Amber, William Charles Jr. and Marley, His brother Stephen (Riley) and his little buddy and nephew Jameson, grandfather Frederick Sooley (Lola), along with a large circle of aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his Grandparents — Susannah Sooley, Redgeway and Frances Snook.

Billy was a talented artist who loved to grow crops, raise chickens, fly fish and spend time outside. He was happiest surrounded by his friends and family. He could be found doing anything from tattooing, home renovations, to gardening and next to his side you would always find his dog Doobie. They say a dog is a mans best friend, but everyone who knew Billy, knew that Doobie was way more than that. He was a unique person who had his own way of doing things and was very persistent and could find a way to do anything. He did everything from tying flies, making pies, building boats, he was a home farmer who wanted nothing more than to share his crop with his family and friends. Art was passion, tattooing being his therapy, he loved to give anything he created to people that he cared about, he understood the true meaning of giving and always gave something from the heart. He took pride in his work, big and small. He was truly talented, kind hearted and a genuine friend to anyone who knew him.

As Billy’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be a celebration of life. If you wish to send along messages, pictures of artwork or any pictures of you with Billy, we will be doing a memorial slide show to showcase his many adventures and his passions in life.
