Obituary of Fannie 'Mae' Green

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mae Green announce her passing on Friday, February 11, 2005 at the Interfaith Home at the age of 69 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband, Art, Curling, children, Sharon Clarke (Joel Saunders), Todd, Brenda Dennis (Paul Noseworthy), David (Joanne Crocker) and Lisa Quinn (Scott Quinn), five grandchildren, Amanda and Ronald Dennis, Emily Quinn, Jeffrey and Cory Clarke, one great granddaughter, Taylor Dennis, all residing in Ontario, sisters, Winnie Penney (Willis), Blanche Oram, Gladys George (Alan) and Kay Payne, brother and sisters-in-law, Garfield Green (Linda), Effie Follett, Catherine Morey (Bob) and Eileen Barry (Gil), special niece, Debbie Clarke, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Dawe and husband Jim, parents, Arthur and Gertrude Eddy, and mother and father-in-law, Loyal and Emily Green. Friends visited Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. The funeral service took place on Sunday, February 13, at 2:30 p.m. from the Salvation Army, Mount Moriah, officiated by Captain Scott and Michelle Rideout. Interment followed at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Interfaith Home, St. Luke's unit.
