Melvina Eileen Tracey

September 2, 1950 – March 22, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvina Eileen Tracey announce her passing on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 55 years Terry Tracey; grandson Jordan (Allie); daughter-in-law Maggie O’Shea Tracey; sisters and brother: Marilyn (Don) Sherman, Anne (Roger) Lewis, Linda (Ben) MacConnell and Dwayne (Carla) Gillam; brothers-and-sister-in-law: Jack Tracey, Evelyn Wadden (Cliff Stacey) and Clarence (Kathy) Tracey; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Terry Tracey Jr., parents Cyril and Margaret Gillam, parents-in-law Ethel and Bill Tracey, sister-in-law Elaine Tracey.

A very special thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses, and staff at Corner Brook Long Term Care for all your exceptional care over the years. Also special thank you to Father Edward Terry for your many visits.

The family will hold a wake on Friday, March 24 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church Pastoral Centre in Pasadena. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church with Father Edward Terry officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery on Monday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m.
