It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hector Donald Baikie announce his passing on March 31, 2023 at the age of 89 years at the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, with his partner of 32 years, Edith, at his bedside.

Leaving to mourn with many fond memories, his two sons Dan (Margie) and Philip (Mia) as well as Richard White (Jennifer); grandchildren Derek, Daniel, Huey, Megan and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Casey, Keegan, Caden, and Lola; mother of Dan and Philip, Carolyn Baikie; along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by infant son Abner, parents, Donald and Naomi Baikie, sisters Sibyl, Hazel, Phyllis, brothers Silas and Gillard.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the North West River United Church.
