MARY WINIFRED CONNORS Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Winifred Connors announce her passing on Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at her residence at the age of 78 years. She will be sadly lissed by her husband Martin; children: Geraldine (Shawn) McCarthy, David (Tina Brunet), Danny, Michele (Mike) Charette, Paul (Sheila) and Glen (Janice); grandchildren: Dyanna, Conor, Matthew, Chloe, Max, Nick, Marc, Shayna, Jean-Philippe, Jessica, Brandon and Hannah; sisters: Anna (Robert) O’Halloran and Marian (Timothy) Fitzpatrick; great-grandchildren: Logan, Aubrey, Raven and Adriana; her dearest friends: Ada Hickey and Mary Reddy. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Nellie and Micheal Jackman, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Francis O’Toole and brothers William and John. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1st from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
