Blanche Belinda Jean Coles
October 27, 1936 – April 19, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Blanche Coles announce her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre on April 19, 2023, at the age of 86.

She leaves to mourn her children Annie (Andy) Lavers, Janice (Darrel) Reid, Guy Coles, Lisa (Robert) Marra, Michele (Lawrence) Coles, and Jada (Joey) Keating; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren; her sister Ann Caines; as well as a large circle of other family members and friends.

Blanche was predeceased by her parents Guy and Dulcie Plowman; sisters Millie Plowman and Marion Ryan; brothers George Plowman and Daniel Plowman; and grandson Cameron Coles.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the kind and caring staff at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre for their time spent with mom during her stay.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Hawke’s Bay on Friday, April 21, 2023, from the hours of 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm as well as the funeral service that will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 2 pm with Pastor Gillett officiating. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery in River of Ponds.
