Henry Farrell

September 7, 1936 – April 21, 2023

It is with profound sadness the family of the late Mr. Henry Farrell announce his passing at the Calder Heath Care Centre on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the age of 86 years.Henry leaves to mourn his long-time companion, Colleen Steward; two daughters, Shirley Ann (Emanuel) Young, Grey River and Ida (Ambrosse) Lawrence, Isle aux Morte. Two sons, Ron Farrell, Prince George, BC and Albert Farrell, Port aux Basque. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are his brother, Thomas (Maude) Farrell, Rose Blanche and his sister, Rose Mauger of Halifax, NS. He also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Susie Farrell (nee Lushman); parents, Eugene and Mary Farrell (nee Taylor); grandsons, Jason Farrell and David Young; parents in law, Thomas and Ida Lushman; sisters, Anne Ward and Rita Bowles; brothers in law, Ted Ward and John Bowles. Many heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Calder Heath Care Centre for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. Grave site service in Isle aux Morte to be announced at a later date. Henry loved fishing, moose hunting, camping and cutting wood for the family cabin he helped to build. He will be missed by all who knew him.
