It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maisie LeBoubon announce her passing on Saturday, April 22^nd, 2023 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Unit at the age of 86 years.

Maisie was a loving wife and mother and a stay-at-home Mom while raising her eight children. Once the kids were older, she went to work at Canadian Tire where she retired after 22 years of service.  During the later years she enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Howley, where she, along with Wallace would spend most of their summers enjoying the quiet and peacefulness of cabin life.

She leaves behind and will be immensely missed by her husband, Wallace, of 69 years; sons and daughters: Derek (Pauline), Wallace Jr. (Lynn), Rodney (Brenda), Floyd (Janet), Louise, Bruce (Dianne), Byron (Debbie) and Brenda; 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; Brother William Gillingham (Beatrice predeceased); sisters Marion Greene (Eric predeceased), Ivy Clarke (Gordon predeceased); sister-in-law Lola Gillingham; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Hilda Gillingham, mother and father-in-law Albert and Mary Harris; granddaughter Sarah LeBoubon Lights, brother Lloyd Gillingham, sister Lillian (Martin) LeCointre, sisters-in-law: Annie LeCointre (Ernest), Mary Hinks (Dominic); brothers-in-law Maurice LeBoubon (Meta) and Francis LeBoubon (Gertie).

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25^th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m., at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church Pastoral Centre in Pasadena. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 26^th at 10:30 Am, from Holy Rosary church with Bishop Bart van Roijen officiating. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
