It is with great sadness that the family of Reginald Dyson announce his passing at his home in Cartwright, Labrador on April 27, 2023 at the age of 76. 

He was born at Open Bay, Labrador and lived in Batteau, Labrador. He went to school at the Cartwright Lockwood school for 5 years. He then moved back to Batteau.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories is his son Darren Dyson, his sons mother Una Dyson, his three grandchildren Lucas, Carson and Kaylee. One nephew: Jamie Dyson; nieces: Joslyn Dyson and Julie Dyson. One sister-in-law: Vera Dyson. His respite workers Charlotte Dyson Duff and Randolph (Duffy) Dyson. A circle of relatives and all his friends.

Reginald fished all his life in Batteau. He loved being out in boat, he loved darts, playing cards, he loved out on ski- doo, he loved going to Easter Fairs, he loved shooting high powered rifle, snow mobile races and dart tournaments.  He done courses in NL and was able to drive big trucks and tractors ect. 

He is predeased by his mother: Louise Dyson, his father: Gipson Dyson sr., his stepmother: Salome Dyson, and his only brother, Harold Dyson. 

A memorial will be held at a later date at St. Peter’s  Anglican church in Cartwright, NL
