It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Penney announce his passing on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Reneé (nee Thomas); sons: Jeff Miller (Barb), Randy Penney (Launa) and Rodney Penney (Alice); grandchildren: Meghan Hancock, Venna Penney, Randi Penney, Ashley Chaffey (Donnie Mollon) and Raymond Diamond (Kim Saunders); great-grandchildren: Lundyn Chaffey and Harlan Chaffey; brothers-in-law: Melvin Thomas (Selma) and Wally Thomas; sisters-in-law: Joan Penney and Joan Wiseman; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Jean Penney, brothers Keith, John and Guy “Richard”, sister Idella. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday, May 3 from he hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Majors Wilburt and Bertha Abbott officiating.  Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
