Visitation will take place Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 7 PM-9 PM, at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue where a Celebration of Life service will also take place on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 2 PM with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating.  Interment to follow at United Church Cemetery, Summerside.

As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Society, the Autism Society of Newfoundland, the Ronald McDonald House, the Janeway, or a charity of one’s choice.

She has touched the hearts of many people and will continue to live on in all our hearts.

Mom, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18

It's a difficult task that a mother is assigned – To always be loving and gentle and kind … For there surely are times when she’d much rather be.

A little less busy, a little more free … But you’ve never quit, Mom, just because you were tired.

And these are the reasons you’re loved and admired … For you’ve given your heart and your “motherly touch” to your home and your family who loves you so much!
