Obituary of Austin Edward Rumbolt

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Austin Edward Rumbolt announce his passing on Thursday, May 11^th, 2023, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL, in his 72^nd year.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Sherri; children: Francis (Mildred), Sheldon (Olive), Melissa (Keith), Justin, Cory (Lola), Katie, and Elaine; 27 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Austin was predeceased by his father: Emanuel Rumbolt; mother: Ellen Poole; stepfather: Leander Poole; sister: Elizabeth Poole, and his brother: Kevin Poole.

A visitation service is scheduled to take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL, on Monday, May 15^th, 2023, from the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

As per Austins wishes, cremation will follow the visitation services.

A memorial service is scheduled to take place at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL, on Friday, May 19th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Amber Tremblett officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Austin's memory, may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
