It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Cora Elizabeth Hillyard Hancock, age 90. She leaves with loving and warm memories her children Albert, Sarah (Robert), Juanita, Mervin, Mary (Wayne) and Elaine (Brian). Grandchildren Michael (Rowena), Paul (Trina), Jill, Michael (Mia), Amanda (Matthew), Melissa, Stephen, David, Laura (Tom) and Matthew (Jessica) Great-grandchildren Dylan, Isaac, Bryce, Ellie, Naomi and Sonja. Her sisters, Rachel, Irene, Liz, Mary, Rebecca and brother Eric.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Garfield, Son in law Wade,  Brothers, Albert, Norman, Bill, Mike, Harold and Ted; Sisters, Rachel and Maisie.

We would like to thank the staff at Long Term Care in Forteau  for their kind and compassionate care of our mother. We are very grateful. 

She will be remembered for her love of the great outdoors, her church, her community and of course her family.

Cora will be resting at the United Church in Forteau beginning at 3:00 Saturday, May 20, 2023

Funeral will be at 2pm on Monday, May 22, 2023
