Royburn Brett

July 20, 1961 – May 21, 2023

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family, Royburn Brett on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Western Long Term Care Facility, Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook at the age of 61.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 40 years Lorraine; his sons: Peter (Alysson) and Billy (Kayla) and his prize possession and Poppy’s Girl Abigail; his grandchildren: Brett, Everleigh and Weston; his siblings: Cecil (Jean), Betty (Ralph), Golda and Geraldine; siblings-in-law: Ewart (Linda), Brian (Shirley), Terry (Brenda), Jeanette (Elvis) and Pamela (Paul); a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of relatives and friends. Also, his good fishing buddies and long time friends Ford, Terrance, George and Shawn.

Royburn was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Gertrude Brett, his sister Ruth Wells, brother Todd Brett, mother and father-in-law whom loved him dearly, Edgar and Ivy Eveleigh, his niece Chantal Parsons.

Royburn will be resting at the Anglican Church of the Epiphany in Hampden on Monday, May 22, family visitation only from 7-9 p.m. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at the Hampden Community Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Anglican Church Fund.

The family wishes to express their deepest thanks and appreciation to all those who called, visited, sent food, cards, flowers, in memorial donations or remembered them in prayer during this time.
