It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gregory Wade Randell announce his passing on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 59 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Vera Randell (nee Milley); brothers: Paul (Donna), Rick (Joanne) and David (Bonnie); nieces and nephews: Elizabeth (Eric), Victoria, Anthony (Michaela), Rebecca and Phillip; great-nieces: Corinne and Celine Belle; as well as many close friends and coworkers who have supported him on his journey. He was predeceased by his father Donald Randell, grandparents Arthur and Mabel Milley, Chesley and Elizabeth Randell, uncles Albert Milley and Herbert Randell. A very special thank you to the Doctors and nurses at the Western Palliative Care Unit, the Cancer Unit in St. John’s and Corner Brook and to the Community Health nurses for all your care and support. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Francis Elgar officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
