Obituary of Priscilla Tooktoshina

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Priscilla Tooktoshina announce her passing on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the age of 59 years, surrounded by her loving family and friends. 

Leaving to mourn are daughter: Elizabeth Holley (Drapper); stepdaughter: Eleonora (Claude) Townley; step grandchildren: Rebecca, Travis and Jean Louis St-Aubin and two step great grandchildren: Alessa and Sebastian Cain. Her dearly loved brothers and sisters: Karl (Cec), Stanley (Reta), Sam (Ruth), Nina (Boyce), Marion, Clifford (Cindy), Bernard (Theresa), Curtis (Lisa), Sylvia (Muta), Mary, Leslie and Faith; sister-in-law: Audrey Stagg, as well as a very large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Priscilla was predeceased by her parents: Clifford and Mary Saunders; husband: Ralph Tooktoshina; brother: Doug Saunders; parents in law: Steve and Elizabeth Tooktoshina and brother-in-law Charles Bishop.  

Thank you to the staff at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay who provided her with medical attention and care during her final days.

As an expression of sympathy, any act of kindness- whether big or small -can be made with Priscilla’s memory in your heart. 

As per Priscilla's wishes, cremation has already taken place. A memorial service and celebration of life will occur at a later date when we are stronger to come together again.
