ROXANA M. BISHOP (NEE BUTT) Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roxana Bishop announce her passing, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 88th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories two daughters: Marilyn Bishop (David Tierney), Johnson City, TN and Norma Bishop (Ted Raspin), Toronto, ON; two grandchildren: Eamon Tierney, Fort Benning, GA and Darin Tierney, Ottawa, ON; sister: Myra Clarke (James W. Clarke, deceased), Curling; nephews: Charlie and Gary Courage; nieces: Barbara Hillier and Elizabeth Clarke. Predeceased by her husband B. Lloyd Bishop; parents: Charles and Annie Butt. We would like to express our extreme gratitude for the comforting care that was provided to our mother by Dr. Morris, Dr. Dean and the Nursing staff at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. Marks Avenue, followed by a private burial. Reverend Karin Laldin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Hospital.
