It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecilia House announce her passing on Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn her husband Steven House; children Daniel, Rufus Guinchard Long Term, Carter (Beverly), Stephenville, Barry (Judy), Annah (Philip) Samson, Rex (Gertie) and Marlene (Howard) Galliott of River of Ponds; grandchildren Christopher (Nicole), Cheryl (Jeremy) Nippard, Channon (April), Brian, Andre, Zachary, and Joey (Lynette); great-grandchildren Alex, Christyn and Johnathan; brothers Kevin (Lucinda), Dean (Phyllis), Duke and Rennie (Darlene); sisters Eileen (Frank) and Joy (Roy); sister-in-law Dorcas; brother-in-law George Biggin, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Rachel and Maxwell Sheppard, brothers Garfield and Maxwell; sisters Marion and Olive, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family received friends at St. Peter's Anglican Church, River of Ponds on Wednesday and Thursday from where the Funeral Service took place on Friday, January 22nd at 2:00 pm, Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
