Obituary of Tanner Frederick Paul

It is with great, profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of the late Tanner Frederick Paul announce his sudden passing on June 23, 2023 at the young age of 23 years in Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his beautiful daughter, Harmony; Dad, Fred Paul Jr; Mom, Kelly Matthews (Philip); Brothers, Tim Paul (Tya), Tad Paul (Anna), and Logan; little Sisters, Ava and Lexi Matthews; Grandmother’s, Mildred Paul and Angela Mahoney; Aunts and Uncles, Tracy Paul, Salome Russell, John Russell (Amy) and Albert Russell (Bonnie); Nephews, John Mutrey, Bentley and Blake Paul. A large circle of cousins, especially Anita Paul (Robert) and Skyler. As well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by both Grandfather’s; Fred Paul Sr, Harrison Ward and Uncles William Broomfield, Corey -Lee Ward and Curtis Russell. Tanner was also predeceased by his daughters Mom Nascha Pinette, whom he loved and missed dearly.

Our hearts have been completely broken and we will miss him something fierce here on earth, but we take comfort in knowing he is now with his one love again, and his family who loved him as much as we did.

To our darling boy, you are free from the darkness and pain now so fly high and freely with the angels, until we meet again. ❤️

A visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL, on Thursday, June 29th, 2023, from the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. for family & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. for the public. 

A funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL, on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Amber Tremblett officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
