Obituary of Jean Vivian House

August 18, 1935 - June 29, 2023                   

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of the late Jean Vivian House announce her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders, NL on June 29, 2023. She is survived by her son Kenneth (Denise), grandsons: Jason and Travis (Mary), and great grandchildren; Joshua, Olivia and Ren., sisters-in-law: Annie Kennedy, Helen Ashcraft, Irene House, Korina House, Linda (Dennis) Hewlin, Marie Smith (John Galliott); brother-in-law Bill LeDrew; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family who held a special place in her heart.                               

Jean is predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Goodwin House, son Paul, parents Archibald and Ella Pynn; sisters:  Mary (Frank) Crane, Lillian (George) Homer; sister-in-law Edith Howlett; brothers-in-law: Leo Kennedy, Trevor Walker, Albert House, Robin Smith and nephews Rod and Andrew.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Visitation on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 @ 7pm - 9pm at Saint John the Divine Anglican Church Port Saunders.

Funeral to take place on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 @ 11am with The Rev. Marie Smith, priest in charge. 

Interment to follow at  Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery Port Saunders.
