Obituary of Naissa Penunsi
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Naissa Penunsi announce her passing on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at her private residence, Sheshatshiu, NL, at the age of 57 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Cassandra; son: Terrence; grandson: Eric. Siblings: Marie Louise, Angela, Margaret (Pien), Patricia (David), Monica, Mary Jane (Joseph) and Gordon (Barbara); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
Naissa was predeceased by her parents: Sebastian and Mary Philomena. Siblings: Joseph, Tommy, Eric, Philip, Theresa, Louison and Isabel.
A visitation wil take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home on Monday, July 10th, 2023 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Visitation will also take place at Naissa's home at 58 Edwards Drive, Sheshatshiu, NL on Tuesday, July 11th starting at 11:00am.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 at Tshitshitua Shushep Roman Catholic Church, in Sheshatshiu, NL, starting at 11:00am with Father Joe officiating.
