Obituary of Ozzie Stanley Penney

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ozzie Stanley Penney announce his unexpected passing on July 7, 2023, at the age of 47. Ozzie was born and raised in Port Hope Simpson on July 31, 1975. He was the son of Stanley Penney and Mildred Penney. He was the only sibling to his older sister Gail (Carmen). Ozzie was a proud father to his two beautiful daughters, Anita (Robert) and Tanisha (Nicco). He was blessed with three cherished granddaughters, Skylar, Harmony, and Ellaleigh. He had one niece Gina (Devon) and two great-nephews James and Simon (Godchild). Ozzie dearly loved and was loved by his girlfriend Yvette and her two beautiful girls Mya (Freda) and Marlene. Ozzie was known to many as “The Cat”. He had a way of touching the lives of everyone he met and leaving an imprint on their hearts and minds. Ozzie will be remembered by many people as they drive through road construction signs. He had a kind heart and no matter where you would see him, he had a smile to brighten your day. He loved out on the water in his boat and old classic country music. Ozzie will forever remain in our hearts. Remembering his bright smile will forever guide us through life’s darkest moments. May your spirit soar amongst the stars, forever watching over your cherished family and friends, until we meet again.
