Calvin James Hann

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvin J. Hann announce his passing on Friday, July 14^th, 2023 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 91 years.

Predeceased by his wife Sylvia (nee Dennis), parents George and Ella Belinda Hann; brothers, Charles (Pearl), Gill (Marjorie), Leslie (Meta), Winston (Gwendolyn), Joe; sisters Amelia (Arthur Nicole/Edgar Laing), Emma (William Welshman/Lewis Simms), Ula (David Walsh), Lillian Quilty and sister-in-law Evelyn Hann.   He leaves to mourn his brother William (Mary), sister Martha Payne (Sterling); sister-in-law Elizabeth Hann and brother-in-law Leo Quilty, as well as 46 nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank his care giver, Nina Blackwood, who went above and beyond for Calvin, we will be forever thankful for your care and compassion.

Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17^th at 2:00 P.M. from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach with Reverend Effe Organ officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach.
