Eileen Margaret Baikie
February 9, 1939 – July 20, 2023
North West River, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eileen Baikie announce her passing on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Labrador Health Center in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 84 years. Eileen was a beloved school teacher and spent many years teaching throughout Labrador.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her sister: Shirley (Robert) Fraser of Corner Brook; brothers: Donald Matthews of Springdale, Barrie Matthews of Calgary, Alberta; and her special friend: Israel Hann of North West River.
As per the families wishes, there will be no services scheduled at this time. An interment service will take place
in Springdale at a later date.
