Obituary of Monica "Eunice" Drover

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Monica Eunice Drover announce her passing on July 31, 2023,
at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 77 years.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her loving husband of 59 years: Jim Drover; daughter: Kim (Bob) Moore; son: Jeff (Lisa) Drover; grandchildren: Kyle Hookey (Jody), James Drover, Nathan Drover, Brittany Hookey, Robert Drover, Jordan Moore, Monica Drover (Liam), Jessica Drover-Hynes (Richard), and Jacob Drover; great-grandchildren: Christopher Drover and Richard Stone; sister: Mary Bennett (Theodor), as well as an extremely large extended family consisting of her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and well over a hundred nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

She was predeceased by her son: Scott Drover (Wendy); brothers: Mike Gillingham (Patricia), Ralph Gillingham (Clara); sisters: Louise Burton (Pierce) and Laura Hillier (Jim).

As per the families wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held at Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook on Thursday, August 3, 2023, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9pm. There will be no formal funeral service. Interment to take place at Mount Patricia Cemetery’s Niche Wall on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:15am.
