November 25th, 1940 – August 1st, 2023


It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donald Joseph Young announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at the age of 82 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Farron (Amanda) & Darrell (Jave-Lin). His grand children Audrey, Farrah, & Jayda.

He was predeceased by his parents Angus & Lillian; his wife Anna Shirley White; sister: Joan Andrews & brothers Clyde, Cedric & Gerry.

Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m..

Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic section of Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Stephenville, NL on Saturday, August 5, 2023 @ 2:00 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.
