BRIDGET CHRISTOPHER Meadows, NL July 2, 1924 - February 21, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bridget Christopher announce her passing on Sunday, February 21st, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Claudine (Ernest) Blanchard, Olive Park, Jean Christopher (Wilfred Brake), Blanche (Lionel) House, Daisy (Ramsey) Brake, Ross Christopher, David Christopher and Wycliff (Marie) Christopher; 31 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother Simon (Catherine) Tucker; brother-in-law Foster Lewis, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William, June 1952, sons Gilbert, November 1945 and Victor, November 2005, parents Arthur and Eliza Tucker, brother Hedley, sisters Stella House and Regina Lewis and brother-in-law Lesley House. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Meadows on Monday beginning 7:00 PM and Tuesday from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
