It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eugene Best Jr announce his passing at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the age of 64 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his brothers: Mike (Sharon), Paul (Beverley) and Melvin (June); his sister: Rhona (Gerard) Wall; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Eugene Jr was predeceased by his parents: Eugene Best Sr and Effie Best.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with an internment to follow at the United Church cemetery in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to a charity of one’s choice.
