NELSON COOMBS Reefs Harbour, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nelson Coombs announce his passing on Sunday, February 21st, 2010 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Georgina, sons: Chad, Paradise, Trent (Sheri), Port Saunders and Brent, Fort McMurray; grandchildren: Hope, Brock and Hailey; brothers: Albert (Olga), Roland (Myrtle), Angus (Viola) and Ace (Marion); sisters: Barbara (Henry), Marie (Rex), Dorcas (Stewart), Bertha (Dave), Mona and Lucy (Hubert), brother-in-law Chesley and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Roland and Florence, sister Effie, brother George Henry, niece Colleen and brother-in-law Lambert. The family will be receiving friends from St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church in Reefs Harbour on Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kris Goose officiating. Interment to follow at French Cove Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
