James David Russell

September 18, 1972 – August 7, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James “Jimmy” David Russell announce his passing on Monday, August 7^th, 2023 at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 50 years.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife, Roxanne; parents, David and Pauline Russell; brother Corey (Michelle) Russell; sister, Sherry Russell; nephew Matthew (Diana) and nieces, Alyssa and Courtney;  great niece, Lexi; Father and mother-in-law: Hayward and Dorothy Clark; sister-in-law: Lorianne Bailey (Jamie), brother-in-law Tyler Clark (Faith); his fur babies: Oreo, Garrison, Willy, (Rojo deceased); as well as many aunts, uncles, other relatives and MANY friends.

Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday, August 10^th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. There will be a prayer service starting at 8 pm, officiated by Erica Humber-Shears. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Sunshine Kitty Rescue or CB Scaredy Cat Rescue.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of 3C, Western Memorial Hospital, the Radiology Department, Dr. Lafferty and Dr. Jackman, for the care and kindness shown to us during this difficult time.
