Obituary of Meta Butt
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Meta Butt announce her passing on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at the family residence in Pinware at the age of 65 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories husband Fred; children: Curtis (Zita), Mary Hudson (Pius), Yvonne (Dean), Velma Burke (Lyndon), Bruce (Lynette), and step son Boyd Ryland (Melita); grandchildren: Stephanie, Stephan, Cordell, Cassie, Brent, Brianna, Kristen, Luke, Jenetta, and Barbara; siblings Gladys Hancock, Gordan, Norman and Clarence, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by parents Stanley and Minnie Ryland, brothers Alfred and Fred. Visitors were received at the Pinware Community Centre on Wednesday and Thursday from where the Funeral Service took place Friday, February 12th at 2:00 pm with Loretta Hancock and Alice Moores officiating. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Pinware. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, in L'Anse au Loup.
