She and her husband Fred built a home and life in Corner Brook, NL where they raised their only child Gertie, and were actively involved in the lives of their grandchildren Jeff and Denise. A cherished memory that Emily’s grandchildren shared with her is the time they spent camping together at Birchy Lake while growing up. Emily’s presence in the life of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren is treasured. Emily was a pillar of strength and devotion to her friends and family throughout her life.
Emily found deep comfort in the prospect of being reunited with her departed loved ones upon her passing. Her family expects a large welcoming party will be ready and waiting to usher her into the afterlife.
