Obituary of Craig Mitchell
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Craig Riley Mitchell announce his passing on August 16th, 2023, at the tender age of 44 years.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mother: Kate (Voisey); son: Jayden (his mother Marilyn); his sisters: Patricia Voisey (Brent), Kerry (Marvin) and Krista. Also leaving to mourn are his nieces: Tegan (Cole), Charity, Danika, Emilie, Sasha, Paisley, and Avery; his great nephews: Noah and Elijah; his great niece: Macie; Aunts: Violet (Hayward), Carla (Larry) and Sheila (Lee) and Karen; Uncles: George Voisey, Andy (Dorothy), Perry (Rachel), Lester and Gerald (Liz); as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Craig is predeceased by his father: Horace Mitchell; grandparents: Wilson and Elsie Mitchell and David and Rhoda Voisey; his aunts: Alice, Sadie, Marjorie, Irene Mitchell, and Mary Voisey; his uncles: Willie, Rex, and Antone.
The funeral service will be held at the Makkovik Moravian Church, internment to follow at the Makkovik Moravian Cemetery.
