Passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit, Edith May Lawrence at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her special niece Joy Parsons (Ray) and children Vanessa and Judy; special niece Joan Lawrence; sister-in-law Annie Smith; as ell as half brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Malcolm Lawrence, parents Ambrose and Janet Suley, sisters Violet Carter (Edward) and Myrtle Pelley (William), brothers Reginald Suley, Ambrose Suley and Wallace Suley (Alice). A very special thank you to Mountview Estates for their love and exceptional care over the past 12 years. Also thank you to Dr. Smallwood, 3^rd floor nurses at Western Memorial Regional Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Canon Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
