Obituary of Linda May Taylor-Barrow

Linda May Barrow nee Barrett (aka Nan)

October 1, 1951 – September 5, 2023

On the morning of Tuesday, September 5, 2023, 7:20 AM Linda May Barrow, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, at the young age of 71.

Linda was born and raised in Howley NL on October 1, 1951. She had lived in many cities and towns throughout her years. She retired two years ago and had the pleasure of moving back to her roots.

Linda was such a beautiful woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends. She always put others before herself even in her final moments.  

Linda leaves behind her loving husband Raymond; her three children: Carolyn (Jacques), Laura (Alan), Ron (Amanda), son-in-law Dwayne; grandchildren: Corrina, Chantal,  Mikayla, Christopher, Aimie, Deven, Jayden and Megan; great grandchildren: Bryden, Kenzie, Olivia, Tobi, Mila, and Charlee; brothers: Arch (Mary) and Ken; sisters: Kathleen, Mabel, and Annie (Shawn).

Linda is predeceased by her first son Charles and her daughter Tammy (August 3, 2023); parents Albert and Sheila; brother Walter; sister Jean; brothers-in-law Robert and Lorenzo; sister-in-law Pauline; and her first husband Charles.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for Mom and Tammy.
