Obituary of Melvin Joseph Bennett

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Melvin Bennett (Melly) on September 13^th, 2023 at the age of 54 years old.

He leaves to mourn with cherished memories his partner Glenda; children Shania and Gage; parents Melvin and Shirley; siblings Anthony, Maurice and Michelle. Also his two dogs Winston and Bentley.

Predeceased by his grandparents and his baby brother Myles.

Melvin was a hardworking, genuine, loving man who was a friend to all. He could always be seen with a smile on his face and sharing a laugh with friends and family. Known for having a big heart and putting others first. A dedicated fishermen who loved everything outdoors including salmon fishing, hunting and quad rides.

Cremation has taken place, visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17 from the hours of 7-9 p.m. from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Flat Bay from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Flat Bay. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
