Obituary of Emmanuel Etheridge
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Manuel Etheridge announce his passing on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010 at Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, children: Elizabeth Bolger (Walter), Vandale Etheridge (Tom), and Sheldon; grandchildren: Steven, Philip, Dustin, Sarah and Natalie; siblings: Pernell, Charles, Harold, William, Irene, Leona, Ida, Victoria and Susie, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. He was predeceased by wife Irene Cabot and brothers: Donald and Andrew. Visitors were received at the Anglican Church in Capstan Island on Wednesday and Thursday and at Our Lady of Labrador Church in West St. Modeste on Wednesday from where the Funeral Service took place on Friday, February 26th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Marlaine Leggo and Fr. Hanh officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery in L'Anse au Diable. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, L'Anse au Loup.
