Obituary of Matthew Andrew

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Matthew Andrew announce his passing on September 12th, 2023, at a private residence in Sheshatshiu, NL at the age of 23 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents: Vanessa Andrew and the late Harold McKay; his grandparents: Matthew Andrew and Denina Andrew and Philomena McKay and the late Pat McKay; his partner: Anna Marie Andrew; his children: Anderson Rich and Maddie Maniaten Andrew; his brothers: Patrick McKay (girlfriend Shania Katshinak), Jordon Michel and Eichel Andrew: his sisters: Victoria McKay, Ava Andrew, Anessa Andrew, Elyana Montague and Ryanne Montague. His aunties: Sharon McKay, Eva McKay, Veronica Rich, Valene Michel and Victoria Andrew; his uncles: Peter McKay, Lorne McKay, Darren McKay, Gilles Andrew and Stueshish Michel; as well as extended family and friends.

Matthew was predeceased by his father: Harold McKay; his grandfather: Pat McKay; his cousin: Farron McKay Jr; his uncle: Farron McKay.

A visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley- Goose bay, NL on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Visitation will also take place at 20 Sebastien Street in Sheshatshiu, NL on Monday, September 18th starting at 1:00 pm. 

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19th, at 11:00 am at the CYN building in Sheshatshiu, NL with Pastor McAuley officiating.
