Obituary of Lydia (nee Sinnicks) Sheppard
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lydia Sheppard announce her passing on Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her children: Clyde (Harriet), Howard (Melina), Ruby (Butch), Muriel and Norris (Charmaine); grandchildren: Andy, Terrance, Lloyd, Bryon, Ellisia, Melinda, Devon, Ian, Jarvas, Jennifer, Nathan, Thomas, Samantha and Ashley; great-grandchildren: Christian, Tyler, Melissa, Andrew, Carly, Troy, Brandon, Bailey, Riley, Nicholas, Ryland and Chloe, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by husbands James Sinnicks and Thomas Sheppard; daughters Annie, Julia, Stella; grandson Quinton and great-granddaughter Brooke. The family received friends at Holy Innocent Anglican Church in Hawkes Bay on Friday and Saturday from where the Funeral Service took place on Sunday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, River of Ponds. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
