GERALD JAMES RUSSELL Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald James Russell announce his passing on Tuesday, March 9th, 2010 at his family residence, at the age of 83 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Nellie Russell; children: Janet (Gary) Keats, Sylvia (Rick) Dawe, Geraldine (Robert) Nippard, Tony (Debbie) Russell, Derek (Lorna) Russell, Alice (Greg) Gear, Linda (Daniel) Eichel, Randy (Tara) Russell, Gerald (Pansy) Russell and Valerie (Faron) Sheppard; 23 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Judy Russell; parents Francis and Alice Russell and brothers and sisters Mary, Frank, Christine, Reg, Jim and Leo. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Labrador Health Centre Ladies Auxillary.
