Rowena and family,
Gary and I are sad to hear of Wilson’s passing. I always remember him as having a ready smile and an easy manner. My recent memories of Wilson are of the times my sisters and I helped serve Christmas dinner at the church. He was so happy to see people spending time together and enjoying a meal. He was truly an ambassador for true fellowship.

My deepest condolences go out to you at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of meeting Wilson and his beautiful wife while volunteering at the Salvation Army community kitchen. Wilson was the go to person. Kind, funny and a pleasure to be around. The community has lost a true leader who gave so much. I have and never will forget my time spent in HVGB. Hello and deepest condolences to you all.
I knew Wilson through my work as Parts Manager with Woodward Motors in St Anthony.
We spent lots of time on the phone over the years.
A number of years ago I was privileged to spend a weekend moose hunting with him and my spouse at our old cabin in area 40,
we didn’t get the moose but did experience the gentleness of this humble man.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Rowena, Cindy and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Wilson’s passing. He certainly fought the bravest of fights but now he is pain free with his God and watching over you.
Wilson left an incredible impact on everyone who was fortunate enough to cross his path, myself being no exception. Wilson ( and you too Rowena) was very, very kind to me and my daughters when we moved to Happy Valley many years ago and that kindness has and never will be forgotten. For that reason among others, I am so thankful that Eugene and I had the opportunity to visit with him this past summer.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad and painful time. You have many wonderful memories to cherish and your faith to guide you through. May the Lord bless you all.

So sorry to hear of Wilson's passing. He was such an amazing man and friend, an inspiration for sure. He would always have a smile and would always ask how we are doing in the midst of his own storm but He loved God and trusted in God. He will be missed . We have many memories of Wilson but today a man in our church sang “There is a message, a simple message!” and we were reminded that Sheila was singing the same song many years ago in your church in Goose Bay when Wilson went forward and gave his heart to the Lord. A beautiful memory.

To Rowena and Cindy,
I first met Wilson many years ago when he worked for Labrador Motors. He was a true gentleman! We may have lost contact over the years, but we never lost faith.
My fondest memories are the many times I met up with him at the Salvation Army Church. He was a true man of faith and my walk of faith can be contributed to him, during my time with the Salvation Army in Happy Valley. That I will be forever grateful.
As you go through this difficult time please be assured you are in my thoughts and prayers. It was certainly a tough battle for Wilson, but I know he never lost faith in knowing where he will be, following his life on earth.
With all the cherished memories that will live on forever in your hearts, I pray it will give you comfort and peace, as you await for that glorious day of joyful celebration in eternity.
Today will be a ‘Celebration of Life’ for a wonderful man who I am proud to call my brother in Christ.

One of my first bosses as a teenager whereI worked at Lab Motors for a summer, or it was supposed to be one summer but then returned for another.
Wilson was a great man, a dry sense of humour at times, a very kind heart and spirit, and devoted to his church and family.
