I remember when Jack joined the Air Force. Every time a plane would go overhead I thought it was my brother Jack. When he came home from the Air Force , Mom, Dad, and the rest of the family were so happy. Jack took his Forces hat off and put it on Mom. I love you big brother and we will be together again someday to laugh with our siblings like nobody is watching.

I first worked with Jack at St. John's airport in the early seventies, he was well liked, with a great mind, sense of humour and the patience of Job.

I just wanted to pass along my condolences to all Jack's family.
I liked to consider Jack as my friend and not just family. I have never met anyone who made me feel so at ease as Jack did. Very easy going and funny. He was a very genuine human being. Although we didn't spend as much time as I would have liked, I felt like I knew him for a very long time.
I will miss our conversations, swapping stories and jamming.

I will always treasure the memory of uncle Jack trekking with me through the woods to show me a beautiful waterfall while we were in Rocky Harbour the summer before last. He was an amazing man with a kind and gentle spirit. I'm happy to have called him my uncle. While he made be gone, he will never be forgotten.
