It is with great sadness that the family of the late Christine Elsie Rose Lane (nee Jacque) announce her passing on September 29, 2023, at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at the age of 78 years.

 

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Henry Lane; son: Johnny; daughters: Sharon, Janet, Jane, and Jacqueline; her sisters: Hope Sheppard (Herman) and Roberta Edmunds (Job); her brother: Torsten Jacque (Doris).

 

Christine was predeceased by her parents: John and Caroline Jacque; her sisters: Daphne, Janet, Sylvia and Bertha; and her brothers: Sam and Byron.

 

A visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 pm.

 

A funeral service will be held at the Pentecostal Church in Postville, NL in the coming days. A date will be announced.
